A complete production line for processing round timber based on frame saw technology. The line is capable of processing material from a top diameter of 15 cm and a base diameter of 55 cm, in lengths ranging from 2.5 to 9.5 m. The technology includes:

1) Cascade infeed for logs up to 10 m in length with dosing system.
2) Frame saw G710, Královopolské strojírny:
- The frame saw is equipped with a feeding carriage mounted on rails, complemented by hydraulic log centering.
- At the output of the frame saw, separation wedges isolate center and side boards.
- The frame saw is powered by a 55 kW electric motor.

- The frame saw is powered by a 45 kW electric motor.

- A roller conveyor connected to the frame saw transports side boards to the edging center's cascade.
- Center boards are collected immediately after sawing, placed onto a carriage on rails, and, once the package is complete, pulled from the sawmill using a winch.
4) Edging center, Strojírny Loučná n. Desnou:
- Max. cutting thickness 26 mm, width 70 – 370 mm, total power input 29.2 kW.

- Side boards are fed vertically into the edging center via the cascade.
- Boards can first be trimmed to the required production length, which can be set as fixed or optimized for yield maximization.
- After trimming, boards are edged to fixed widths to maximize lumber yield. Finished boards are automatically transported by conveyors and sorted into storage boxes by length. The final product is unsorted side lumber, typically 80 mm+ in width.
