Frigoscandia FloFreeze MX62

Frigoscandia FloFreeze MX62 IQF tunnel freezer on NH3 (ammonia), in very good condition. Designed for rapid, individual quick freezing (IQF) of products such as vegetables, berries, shrimp, and pasta. Supplied complete with infeed/outfeed, shaking unit, glazing belt (optional), evaporators, control cabinets, Danfoss frequency converters, and a Siemens TP1200 Comfort HMI (renewed in 2020).

Products are loaded onto the infeed shaker (approx. 1200 mm high), where they are separated and de-clumped. From there, they are conveyed into the freezer via a blue plastic belt conveyor. The belt is approximately 7,400 mm long and 1,190 mm wide, equipped with a descending mechanism that redistributes products and removes excess ice. Discharge height is 912 mm. An optional Innotec Systems glazing belt can apply a protective ice coating.

The MX62 features two NH3 evaporators and six centrifugal fans, each driven by an ABB M2AA160MA-2 motor (50 Hz, 13.2 kW, 2,897 rpm). Cold air is blown through the conveyor belt to prevent product sticking. The evaporators can be defrosted with warm air via spray nozzles. The freezer includes three inspection hatches.

Comes complete with original control cabinets, frequency inverters, and Siemens control system.
