Horizontal band saw with a swiveling arm for metal cutting, enabling cuts perpendicular to the axis of the workpiece as well as at any angle from 0 to 60º. Material can be fed manually or by any type of mechanical feeder, with automatic tool feed. The blade guides are fitted with dedicated carbide inserts and bearings, which have a significant impact on blade guidance, durability, straightness of cut, cutting accuracy, and quality.

The machine arm is made from profiled CAST IRON. The control panel is located next to the arm. Drive from the electric motor to the blade drive wheel is transmitted via a geared worm drive. The cutting blade is tensioned on two cast iron wheels with a manual tensioner and guided by an adjustable set of rolling and linear carbide guides. There is a separate coolant tank with an electric pump inside. The arm descent rate (cutting speed) is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder, with feed speed controlled via the control panel. The saw blade has two selectable speeds: 36 and 72 m/min. When the arm is in the rest position (after cutting), the drive to the saw blade is automatically switched off. Safety is ensured by blade covers and microswitches, which stop the motor after the cutting cycle or when any cover is opened; additional protection is provided by automatic saw shut-off in the event of blade breakage.
